About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for the development and implementation of financial strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the mission and ensure long-term sustainability. This role demands a strong background in nonprofit accounting, with a focus on financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. The successful candidate will also be tasked with overseeing the implementation and optimization of an ERP system, specifically NetSuite, to enhance financial operations. Candidates for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA certification. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in nonprofit financial management, including experience with fund accounting, grant reporting, and compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. The CFO will also be expected to have a strong commitment to the mission of the organization, which is dedicated to fighting hunger and serving the community.
