Position Overview

The Parking Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, organized, and positive parking experience for all guests attending games and events at the ballpark. This position plays a key role in traffic flow, guest service, and safety by directing vehicles, monitoring lots, and enforcing parking policies with professionalism and courtesy.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests as they enter parking areas.
  • Direct vehicles to designated parking spaces efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor parking lots to ensure compliance with stadium parking policies.
  • Manage traffic flow before, during, and after events.
  • Provide information and directions to fans regarding stadium entrances, exits, and amenities.
  • Verify parking passes and collect payment when applicable.
  • Assist in keeping parking areas safe, clean, and free of obstructions.
  • Report safety, security, or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
  • Support emergency procedures as needed (e.g., severe weather, medical incidents, evacuations).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by stadium management.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer service-oriented.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Comfortable directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic safely.
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or parking operations preferred.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
Work Environment
  • Work performed outdoors in stadium parking areas.
  • Exposure to large crowds, traffic, noise, and varying weather conditions.
  • Fast-paced environment requiring attentiveness and professionalism.
  • Seasonal position (April-September, including potential playoff dates).
