We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different trailers like flatbeds or dry vans.

***MUST HAVE 1 FULL YEAR OF VERIFIABLE EXPERIENCE IN THE LAST 3 YEARS***

Dedicated freight with Landstar

• 30% of the load starting pay, percentage bump at 90 days.
• W2 or 1099
• Additional pay for HAZ loads & Driver assist.
• Detention and Layover pay.
• 1 week vacation pay after 1yr.
• Flexible time off when you need it.
• Majority drop/hook preloaded trailers. If driver assist, there’s extra pay.
• Flexible schedule. We’re a small family owned company, just talk to us.

Duties

• Operate and drive well maintained truck running with Landstar.
• Ensure the safe transportation of freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks on the road.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Strong knowledge of truck operation, maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Ability to drive various types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dry vans, etc.
• Excellent navigational skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina for long hours on the road and handling cargo.
