Direct Counsel is representing an Am Law 100 firm seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its New Jersey office (hybrid schedule). This is a full-time opportunity ideal for a mid-level litigator who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is ready to take on substantive responsibilities. Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and memoranda in complex litigation matters.

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis across a variety of civil litigation topics.

• Manage all phases of discovery, including both traditional and electronic discovery (eDiscovery).

• Represent clients in state and federal courts; attend hearings, conferences, and depositions.

• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy and case management plans.

Required:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in a mid to large law firm environment.

• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Experience with discovery, drafting dispositive motions, and court appearances.

• Admitted and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar.

Preferred:

• Federal judicial clerkship experience.

• Admission to additional state bars is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

• Base salary range: $215,000–$245,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
