Lab Assistant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $20/hr - $21/hr
Position Overview: They are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Assistant to support the physical testing and evaluation of specialized personal care products. The Lab Assistant will assist scientists by preparing samples, conducting routine tests, recording data, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of lab equipment.
Responsibilities of the Lab Assistant: - The Lab Assistant will prepare and test samples of personal care products in accordance with established procedures.
- Conduct physical and sensory tests of formulations. These tests will not be highly technical.
- Record and organize test results accurately.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
- Assist in inventory management of lab supplies and materials.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Required Experience/Skill for the Lab Assistant: - Basic understanding of lab procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Lab Assistant: - Experience working in a GMP lab.
- Good Math skills.
Education Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent with some experience in or around a lab environment is required.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree or coursework in Chemistry or Biology is preferred, but not required.
