We are the largest airline in the world with the most expansive network. Flight attendant jobs are highly desired as they offer the unique opportunity to see the world while working. No special schooling or college degree is required; full training is provided by United. Travel Privileges: Fly around the world on United and bring your loved ones! Pay: Starting at $28.88/hour, with top pay at $67.11/hour, plus seniority-based increases and additional pay for language skills, lead roles, and international trips. Training: 6.5 weeks in Houston, TX, covering safety and customer service standards. Post-training, you’ll be assigned to one of our hubs (Chicago, Denver, Houston, LA, Newark, San Francisco, Washington Dulles, or other bases). Training includes a $140/week per diem, accommodations, and meals. Key Skills & Responsibilities Ensure safety at all times. Demonstrate a “People-First” attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. Be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, including reserve shifts on short notice. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Provide memorable customer experiences, representing United with pride. Qualifications 21+ years old. High school diploma or GED; college preferred. At least 1 year of customer service experience. Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written. Ability to operate electronic devices. Valid passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining. Ability to travel internationally without restrictions. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks required onboard. Willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Training & Onboarding Complete evacuation drill in water during training. Pass DOT drug screening, background checks, and medical assessments. Background check must be clear of disqualifying issues, including certain misdemeanors within the last 10 years.
