PeopleReady of Lynchburg is hiring energetic and dependable Event Workers to support a large outdoor water slide attraction taking place from August 22nd to August 24th . This role includes helping set up and tear down the slide, assisting guests throughout the event, and ensuring a safe and fun environment for all attendees.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14.75 - $16.00 / hour*

What you'll be doing as an Event Worker:

• Assist with slide setup and teardown, including assembling equipment, securing structures, and connecting water systems
• Support event operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Greet guests, explain safety rules, and guide participants at the slide entrance and exit
• Monitor slide activity to ensure safe use and provide help as needed
• Follow direction from onsite leads and event supervisors
• Handle light cleaning and equipment storage post-event

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening), Weekends

Job requirements:

• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Comfortable with physical labor and working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and move equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and be active throughout your shift
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service skills
• Punctual, reliable, and able to follow safety guidelines
