Overview Arootah is an early-stage advisory and coaching firm specializing in Alternative Investment & Family Office Advisory, Executive & Leadership Coaching, and Talent Acquisition & Development. Founded by Rich Bello, co-founder and former COO of Blue Ridge Capital, Arootah leverages deep industry expertise to drive peak performance for executives, teams, and firms across the alternative investments landscape. What You'll Do Collaborate with the Global Head of Coaching to drive revenue growth, expand client relationships, and seize new opportunities in developing the coaching business unit within the Alt space and beyond. Consult with the Sales team to create and deliver effective B2B coaching pitches to the alternative investment industry and other sectors. Be the go-to person for Arootah’s database of Executive, Leadership, and Career Coaches, maintaining mutually positive coach relationships. Grow Arootah’s coaching database by recruiting and hiring top Executive, Leadership, and Career Coaches in the industry. Monitor coach satisfaction with feedback surveys and, when needed, draw up actionable improvement plans. Become an expert on Arootah’s suite of tools, coaching processes, and coaching platform. Host trainings and office hours for both the internal team and contracted coaches to ensure alignment with coaching processes, best practices, and tools. Collaborate with Arootah’s customer success team to support coach-client matching and ensure successful delivery of coaching and leadership development programs. Dedicate a portion of time to coaching executives to maintain hands-on knowledge of offerings and best practices. Participate in remote team meetings. Maintain detailed and accurate records of coaching results (themes, challenges, breakthroughs, etc.). Who You Are An experienced coach who has worked with C-suite executives in the finance industry, preferably in alternative investments. Enthusiastic about technology and eager to leverage apps and software to enhance coaching partnerships and client engagement. Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring seamless execution of coaching engagements. A lifelong learner who is passionate about personal development and actively committed to their own growth. A skilled active listener who asks powerful, thought-provoking questions that drive insight and action. Results-driven, with a proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate and meet the needs of clients and stakeholders. Dependable, with a strong “say-to-do” ratio and a track record of delivering quickly on commitments. Adaptable and prepared to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment. A quick learner who can pivot strategies and problem-solve effectively. An excellent communicator with top-tier interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and influence at all levels. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in executive coaching Bachelor’s degree 360 Assessment experience / certification Experience coaching C-suite executives Located in the New York tri-state area Experience facilitating both online and in-person trainings, workshops, and/or seminars Professional experience in the Alt industry (private equity, hedge funds, venture capital, real assets) or broader financial services — or extensive experience coaching in these areas Passion for helping others improve their productivity, performance, and leadership skills Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse, global stakeholders Superior emotional intelligence and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred ICF Accredited (preferred) Hogan certification is strongly preferred DiSC and/or EQ-i assessment experience is a plus Experience working and collaborating with remote teams Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 base salary + performance-based incentives + participation in our Revenue Sharing & Equity Plan (RSEP) for potential future liquidity events.
