Job Duties and Qualifications: • With general autonomy, leads and supervises the Integrated Asset Management (IAM) Commercialization staff in the evaluation and negotiation of potential oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures, analysis and approval of major capital investments, and assessment of ongoing oil and gas asset operations. • The role is responsible for:

• Evaluation and assessment of oil and gas investment opportunities
• Sourcing and engaging with Private Equity firms and Drilling JV’s; forming LLC’s; and understanding Legal, Finance, and Accounting implications
• Evaluation and delivery of complex external finance mechanisms and detailed execution of specific project financing
• Leadership of decision and risk analysis including risk management of commodity prices through hedging recommendations and analysis
• Taking the lead role in negotiation of potential oil and gas acquisitions, divestitures, and major investments, and serving as a key coordinator with the Law Department in preparing related documents

• Requirements for the role include:

• A comprehensive understanding of oil and gas economics
• The ability to review and propose large, complex models
• Familiarity with major commercial structures for oil and gas fields worldwide, including Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), Technical Services Contracts (TSCs), Concessions, and U.S. Mineral Rights

• The role shares responsibility as a member of the Integrated Asset Management leadership team for establishing goals, contributing to long-term strategy, and guiding the group's performance.
• The job has budgetary accountability or directly impacts a revenue center’s viability or service quality, contributing to value creation.

Qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree in business and at least 20 years of experience, including a minimum of 10 years in financial analysis and finance.
• Experience in the Exploration and Production sector is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
