Mount Tam Media /TalesFromTheGreenRoom - San Francisco, CA 94123 Paid Internship Opportunity at Mount Tam Media: Music, Content, and Community Mount Tam Media - home of Tales from the Greenroom podcast and The Vault (our growing music/artist archive) - is looking for a motivated Part-Time or Full-Time Intern to support our content, video, social media, and fan engagement efforts. This is a hands-on role perfect for students or recent grads interested in music journalism, digital media, video production, community management, and music history. Responsibilities (depending on your strengths, you may work across several areas): Content/Editorial Research artists, transcribe interviews, and write show notes Curate archives and contribute to music journalism content Video/YouTube Edit podcast/video clips and create engaging thumbnails Schedule uploads and optimize for SEO and YouTube analytics Social Media Post clips, manage comments, and engage with fans Promote features from The Vault across platforms Fan Interaction Collect and organize fan-submitted questions/videos Coordinate contests and moderate submissions Research / Data Map artist connections for The Vault Update metadata and verify historical content Qualifications Strong interest in music, journalism, or digital media Basic skills in writing, video editing, or social media management Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines Bonus: Experience with YouTube analytics, SEO, or database management Details Location: Remote (occasional in-person opportunities in the Bay Area) Schedule: Flexible; part-time or full-time depending on availability Compensation: Internship with potential for school credit, portfolio development, and industry experience To Apply: Please submit a short note about your interests, relevant skills, and what excites you most about working in music media.
